An aspiring shoemaker named Takao Akizuki chooses to skip class on a wet morning in Tokyo so that he can draw designs in a lovely garden. Here is where he first encounters Yukari Yukino, a stunning yet enigmatic woman. Takao continues to see Yukari throughout the rainy season, offering to create her new shoes. Unaware of it, the two are able to release the troubles that are buried in their hearts simply by being with each other. Their relationship will be tested as the conclusion of the rainy season draws near since their personal troubles have not entirely subsided.
