Since the historic Ginza Incident, tensions between the Empire and the JSDF have been rising in the large and enigmatic “Special Region” over peace talks. The world’s superpowers’ hunger and inquisitiveness have also started to increase as news of the primitive civilizations of the magical realm’s past emerges.

While all is going on, Lieutenant Youji Itami and his merry gang of female admirers find it difficult to deal with the complicated political intrigue that afflicts the court of the Empire. Princess Pia Co Lada struggles, despite her best efforts, to persuade her father that the JSDF does not intend to take over their country. Itami must think about taking even more extreme tactics to complete his job due to pressure on both sides of the Gate.
